We are excited to be looking for a Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our dedicated team until the end of this academic year, to help lead a rapidly improving primary school in the heart of Portsmouth. As a Class Teacher, you will have the rewarding opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to ensuring the long-term success of the school. You will be instrumental in our mission to ensure every child receives a great education and real choices in life, regardless of background.
We are looking for a highly motivated, capable, resilient and reflective teacher to join our team. Our ideal candidate will:
- Uphold and demonstrate the vision and ethos of the Academy at all times.
- Provide a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for children, where all can thrive.
- Take ownership of own development and support the development of others.
- Plan and teach effective lessons that engage, motivate and inspire children to achieve.
- Regularly assess children and be accountable for their progress and attainment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and other stakeholders.
- Undertake various responsibilities as directed by the Head of School.
