As a Senior Fire Safety Consultant (Building Safety), you will contribute as part of a specialist team of multi-disciplinary professionals supporting our diverse range of clients.
The ideal candidate will have;
- Extensive experience of Fire Safety within the built environment
- Fire risk assessment experience in high-rise residential buildings
- Experience of undertaking fire safety related work at residential buildings over 7 storeys
- Completed design and retrospective fire strategy review across residential and multi-use premises
- Completed fire management plans for residential and multi-use premises
- Undertaken or reviewed FRAEW in accordance with PAS9980 (desirable)
- Experience with BS9997 Fire safety management systems
- Knowledge of the Construction Gateway process
- Have the ability to recognise the importance of accurate and reliable documented information, including knowing how to deal with missing information and assess the suitability of information management systems
- Ability to deliver direction on high-level consulting projects and assignments as required
- An understanding of the environment in which a building operates including the legal framework, responsibilities and accountabilities, due diligence, evidence management and verification, safety management, and information management
- An understanding of the practical measures for fire prevention/ protection and structural safety and be comfortable working with structural safety professionals
- Desire and ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal stakeholders to ensure optimal solutions for our clients
Qualifications And Memberships
- Full member of a relevant institution, such as the IFE or IFSM
- Minimum Level 4 Fire Safety Diploma (or equivalent) such as FPA-E Dip, etc.

- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and report writing ability
- Capability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal stakeholders to ensure optimal solutions for our clients
