Lead the overall planning and execution of the Singapore securities business, building the licensing framework, organizational structure, and operational model from the ground up. Drive the successful launch of Singapore, U.S. and HK equities trading, and progressively expand into cross-border trading and diversified product lines. Design and implement market entry and growth strategies to achieve key business targets, including revenue, profitability, and AUM growth.
Oversee the product design, localization architecture, and functional development of the Singapore securities trading app, ensuring a balance between user experience and compliance standards. Collaborate closely with the group's product and technology teams to advance AI‐driven, data‐enabled trading innovations. Identify user needs and lead the rapid validation and rollout of new products and services.
Act as the business representative to lead CMS license application and compliance operations while maintaining effective communication with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Establish and continuously enhance risk management and internal control frameworks to ensure business stability, transparency, and regulatory adherence. Optimize compliance processes to balance business growth with regulatory efficiency.
Build and lead the local Singapore team with clear goals, defined responsibilities, and a high‐performance, accountability‐driven culture. Foster collaboration across markets and business units to strengthen alignment and efficiency between the Singapore and Hong Kong teams in business development, product innovation, and technology execution.
REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional qualifications such as CFA or CPA are preferred.
- Over 8 years of experience in securities or brokerage business, with a solid understanding of the MAS regulatory framework; prior experience serving as a Representative or other senior managerial position at a licensed brokerage firm in Singapore.
- 3–5 years of experience in building online brokerage or securities trading app products; familiar with related systems, platforms, and vendors.
- In-depth knowledge of equity trading and related businesses across the Singapore, Hong Kong, and U.S. markets, including margin financing and U.S. options.
- Proven experience in business management and P&L ownership, capable of balancing strategic planning and hands‐on execution.
- Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset and strong sense of ownership, with the ability to drive business growth in challenging, dynamic, and fast‐paced environments.
- Demonstrates strong strategic vision and a results‐oriented approach, focused on delivering measurable business outcomes. Open‐minded and collaborative, aligns with Noah's corporate culture and values.
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (writing & speaking) to communicate effectively with management team.
