You will be training to be a Science or Maths Teacher - this is a great opportunity to train to teach outstanding lessons and therefore help pupils achieve excellent academic results in Science/Maths.

About Ark Teacher Training:
Ark Teacher Training (ATT) is a school-based programme offering the perfect mixture of theory and classroom practice to develop you into the best teacher you can be. We work mainly in communities of lower income with a history of academic underachievement.
The Hazeley Academy opened its doors to a small cohort of students in 2005 and is now a well-established, successful secondary school with a Sixth Form educating over 1,500 students aged 11-18. The Hazeley Academy is a proud founder member of the 5 Dimensions Trust.
We are proud of the consistently excellent examination results achieved at The Hazeley Academy and work hard to ensure we grow a vibrant community of exceptional people, through the development of our 5Cs: Character, Confidence, Creativity, Contributing and Community. We measure this success not only by academic results but by what our students go on to achieve after leaving the Academy.
This allows us to recruit the very best teachers, who as a result of our ethos, values and focus on staff well-being are amongst the happiest and most motivated in the country. Our teachers combine high level academic expertise, excellent teaching skills and a real concern for the well-being of each and every student.
Our most recent OFSTED in February 2024 highlighted that we have 'successfully created a caring culture based on strong routines, excellent relationships, recognition of success and restorative practice. Grade C/4 or above in Maths GCSE and English Language GCSE (or equivalent)
An undergraduate bachelor’s degree or will hold (or equivalent) prior to beginning your Initial Teacher Training
