Location: South UK / M4 Corridor – Hybrid/Field-based

Salary: £45,000–£55,000 DOE + uncapped commission

About the Role:

We’re partnered with a well-established facilities management provider with a strong reputation across both public and commercial markets. Due to growth, they’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the team and spearhead new client acquisition, with a focus on long-term contracts as well as ad-hoc opportunities. This is a pivotal hire offering the chance to make a tangible impact, build trusted relationships, and help shape the company’s next phase of growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Win new contracts across a mix of public sector frameworks and commercial clients
  • Manage the full sales process from prospecting through to tendering and contract handover
  • Balance short-term wins with strategic, longer-term sales cycles
  • Represent the business at client meetings and networking events, building your personal profile and relationships in the industry
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless mobilisation of new contracts

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in business development or sales within facilities management (soft FM preferred)
  • Strong track record of winning and delivering contracts in the £500k+ range
  • Professional, consultative sales approach – relationship-driven, not transactional
  • Confident communicator who can influence decision makers across multiple sectors
  • Honest, proactive, and commercially astute, with the drive to deliver results
  • Full UK driving licence (company car provided)
