Ark Recruitment are thrilled to be supporting a well-established business within the events and venue solutions space looking to hire a Business Development Manager to drive growth across high-value corporate and enterprise clients. This role focuses on selling venue booking and event solutions to organisations with significant event budgets, often exceeding £1m annually. It’s a consultative, relationship-led sales role with a strong emphasis on new business development and account growth.

As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing new clients while building long-term partnerships with key decision-makers. You’ll work with organisations planning large-scale events, conferences, and corporate experiences, offering tailored venue and event solutions to meet their needs. This is a highly client-facing role, involving regular meetings, networking, and hosting your own events to build a strong pipeline.

  • Drive new business across corporate and enterprise accounts
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
  • Identify opportunities within high-spend accounts and develop long-term partnerships
