Location: Exeter, hybrid (3 days onsite)
Salary: Up to £28,000 DOE + Uncapped Commission

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong business development experience who is looking to transition into recruitment or for a Trainee Consultant ready to accelerate their career with full support and training.
The Opportunity
As a Junior Recruitment Consultant, you will play a key role in expanding client relationships, identifying commercial opportunities, and delivering recruitment solutions that add real value. You’ll benefit from working a warm desk, with access to established clients and a pipeline of vacancies, while also being empowered to grow your own portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture client relationships through proactive business development
- Source, attract and manage candidates for client vacancies
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial brief through to offer and placement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on our CRM
- Work collaboratively with a supportive and ambitious team
What We’re Looking For
We’re particularly interested in individuals with proven experience in business development or sales, who bring commercial awareness, confidence, and resilience to the table. You might currently be in a sales role or an early-stage recruitment position — either way, you\’re motivated, goal-driven, and ready to build a successful career in recruitment.
Essential skills & experience:
- Strong background in B2B sales or new business development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and target-oriented
- Willingness to learn and take on feedback
- A natural relationship builder
- Recruitment experience is not required — full training will be provided.
