We're launching our Contract Recruitment Division and are looking for an experienced leader to build it alongside us.
The Opportunity
This isn't a traditional recruitment role.
There is no inherited desk.
No legacy team.
You'll have the opportunity to build an entirely new business unit within Ark Recruitment, shaping its strategy, processes, client portfolio and future team.
You'll work directly with the Founder to create a recurring revenue stream that becomes a core pillar of the business.
For the right person, this is an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy rather than simply fill vacancies.
Key Responsibilities
- Launch and develop Ark Recruitment's Contract Division.
- Build and execute the commercial strategy.
- Win new contract recruitment business across our specialist markets.
- Develop existing Ark clients into contract accounts.
- Source, place and manage contract professionals.
- Own contractor care throughout the assignment lifecycle.
- Build forecasting, reporting and performance dashboards.
- Implement best practice around compliance, IR35, payroll and contractor management.
- Create scalable processes and operating procedures.
- Recruit, mentor and lead future members of the contract team.
About You
We're looking for someone who has built something before.
You'll ideally have:
- Five or more years' experience in contract recruitment.
- Experience launching or significantly growing a contract desk.
- A proven billing track record.
- Strong understanding of IR35, compliance and contractor management.
- Experience working with payroll providers and timesheet systems.
- Leadership experience or a desire to build and lead a team.
Most importantly, you'll enjoy creating something from the ground up.
