Ark is excited to be partnering with an established and fast-growing international events agency, on the lookout for an experienced Events Manager to join their collaborative team. With over a decade of success delivering high-quality events for global clients, the business specialises in conferences, residential conferences, executive dinners and roundtables across Europe, the UK and further afield. As part of their continued growth, they are now looking for an Events Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of client events from concept through to delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys managing multiple projects, working closely with clients, and delivering high-impact international events.

The Role

As Events Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing 4 - 5 international events per year, overseeing the entire lifecycle from planning through to on-site delivery, budget management, client relationships, and post-event review. You will work closely with clients to understand their objectives, develop creative solutions, and ensure each event delivers a seamless and engaging experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Full end-to-end project management of a variety of corporate events, primarily conferences, across the year
  • Managing client relationships and acting as the primary point of contact throughout the event lifecycle
  • Budget planning, tracking and reconciliation
  • Venue management, supplier negotiation and contract management
  • Managing staffing agencies and event teams onsite
  • Problem solving and objection handling to ensure successful delivery
  • Collaborating internally with marketing, operations and senior stakeholders
  • International travel to events (typically 4–10 days per event)

About You

We’re looking for a confident and organised Events Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. You’ll likely have:

  • 3+ years’ experience in event management
  • Experience delivering conferences, corporate events or international events
  • Agency experience is ideal, though conference organisers or association event professionals are also encouraged to apply
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Experience managing budgets, venues and external suppliers
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
