We’re recruiting for a dynamic and passionate Junior Events Coordinator to join a leading live events and media company with a portfolio of award-winning exhibitions. This junior role is ideal for someone with some experience in live events or exhibitions (internship or first paid role) who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and wants to support the smooth delivery of large-scale consumer events.
You will work closely with the Operations Manager and cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Sponsorship, and Creative to help deliver engaging, high-profile live events. This role offers the opportunity to grow your career in event planning and delivery, supporting everything from feature installations and sponsor activations to logistics and on-site operations.
Key Responsibilities- Support the end-to-end planning and delivery of large-scale exhibitions, including managing internal and external logistics.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, venue teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth event delivery.
- Assist in managing feature areas, sponsor activations, and show infrastructure with attention to design, branding, and budget compliance.
- Help track budgets, invoices, and maintain accurate event documentation and schedules.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Sponsorship teams to ensure all elements align with the overall event vision and branding.
- Assist with on-site event build, including managing contractors and responding to real-time operational issues.
- Support the coordination of show assets, including signage and furnishings, ensuring timely delivery and installation.
- Maintain clear records of suppliers, contacts, schedules, and budgets.
- Some previous experience in live events or exhibitions (paid or internship).
- Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a creative eye for design and presentation.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Proactive, reliable, and passionate about delivering high-quality events.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site at UK venues, including occasional weekends.
