The Role
An exciting entry-level role for a bright, ambitious graduate ready to launch a career in the B2B events industry. As Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in growing event audiences and exhibitor numbers, working closely with the Event Project Director.
You will be responsible for:
- Identifying and engaging senior decision-makers, offering complimentary VIP passes to attend events.
- Start-up recruitment, researching, contacting, and securing exciting start-ups to exhibit.
- Lead Generation, using provided data as well as your own initiative to source prospects via networking, online research, and industry connections.
- Relationship Building, speaking daily with high-level professionals, writing engaging promotional emails, and updating the CRM (Salesforce).
The Person
- Graduate with 2:1 or above (or equivalent).
- Exceptional communication skills – confident and persuasive over the phone and in writing.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Resilient, motivated, and target-driven.
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to business development.
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
