Sales Account Manager – B2B Events (Design Industry)

Salary: £30k + Commission (Uncapped OTE)

Location: Essex (with travel as required)

Are you a confident and driven B2B sales professional with a passion for design, interiors, or architecture? This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile design-focused event, selling exhibition space and sponsorship packages to industry-leading clients.

We\’re looking for someone with a natural flair for building relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and closing deals—ideally with experience in the interiors, design, or creative sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell exhibition space and sponsorship packages to new and existing B2B clients
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Manage client accounts from initial contact through to event delivery
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities into long-term partnerships
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth event delivery and high client satisfaction
  • Represent the event at major UK and international design shows
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and revenue reporting
  • Provide input into marketing campaigns and creative development of the show

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–2+ years of proven B2B sales experience (ideally within events, media, or design sectors)
  • A strong interest in design, architecture, or interiors
  • Confident communicator – comfortable selling both on the phone and in person
  • Highly motivated, commercially minded, and target-driven
  • Strong relationship builder with a consultative sales approach
  • Able to travel and attend client meetings and industry events as needed
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment
