About the Role
Arbroath currently has two teams working across Arbroath, Brechin, Friockheim and Carnoustie. We support individuals with a range of disabilities, providing care in their homes or with their families. Support includes personal care, skill development for independent living, social support in the community and educational opportunities. We help supported people set goals such as traveling or attending college, and provide spaces for them to build relationships and engage in activities.

Responsibilities
- Work with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
- Communicate and work well with supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
- Support individuals throughout activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
- Update and maintain accurate records using the Arks Information Management system on a tablet.
Qualifications
Previous experience of the following is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided:
- Care Worker
- Social worker
- Home Carer
- Case Worker
- Care Assistant
- Autism Support Worker
- Personal Care Assistant
- Social Care Worker
