Full‑time positions available. Earn up to £24,307.67 per year pro‑rata (pay award pending – the new rate will be confirmed at interview, subject to formal agreement).

About the Service

We support around 20 individuals living independently in their own flats. All flats are within the same building, so there is no travel between sites; a supportive staff team is always on hand. The service is just a five‑minute walk from St Andrews bus station, with regular connections to the rest of Fife, Dundee and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with colleagues as part of an effective team to support vulnerable people.
  • Communicate and work well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
  • Be responsible in supporting individuals throughout the activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
  • Update and maintain accurate records using a tablet on the Arks Information Management System.
  • Manage sleep‑over shifts (working during the day, sleeping over in the service, then working again the next day). The sleep‑over period is over and above your contracted hours and is paid at £100.80 per shift.

Qualifications and Experience

Previous experience of Care Worker, Social Worker, Home Carer, Case Worker, Care Assistant, Autism Support Worker, Personal Care Assistant or Social Care Worker is an advantage but not essential. Ark will provide full training.
