Full-time 37-hour posts and part-time 30-hour posts available. Earn up to £24,307.67 per year pro rata. (Pay award pending – the new rate will be confirmed at interview (subject to formal agreement).
Ark is recruiting full-time and part-time support Workers at our six services across Edinburgh. Located throughout the city, our services support people with a variety of support needs, from a couple of hours a week social support to 24-hour a day care.
Responsibilities
- Work with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
- Communicate and work well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
- Take responsibility in supporting individuals throughout activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
- Update and maintain accurate records using a tablet on Ark’s Information Management system.
Qualifications
Previous experience of the following is an advantage but not essential as Ark will provide full training: Care Worker, Social worker, Home Carer, Case Worker, Care Assistant, Autism Support Worker, Personal Care Assistant, Social Care Worker.
