Reporting to: Head of Post Production
Hours: 37.5 per week, working days will be Monday to Friday 8:15/9.30am to 4:15/5.30pm on site
Lieu time available for out of hours which may be required.

Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the video editing process, from initial concept to final delivery. This role requires a creative eye for storytelling, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Video Editing: Ingest, organise, and edit video footage from rough cut to final product. Analyse project briefs and filming notes to create compelling edits and animations that meet or exceed expectations.
- Animation: Develop engaging animations from concept to completion using After Effects (or equivalent software). This includes storyboarding, asset creation, and final rendering.
- Asset Management: Source or create necessary assets for video edits and animations, ensuring alignment with the project’s style and brand guidelines.
- Audio and Visual Enhancement: Select and incorporate appropriate music, sound effects, and visual effects to enhance the overall impact of the video.
- Quality Control: Implement client and internal feedback to refine video edits and animations. Conduct final online editing, including audio adjustments, colour grading, and technical refinements.
- Project Management: Adhere to project timelines and workflows, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content. Maintain organised project files and archives.
- Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings, offering creative input and collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (2 years) as a video editor with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of editing styles and techniques.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro), motion graphics software (Adobe After Effects) and design (illustrator).
- Excellent understanding of storytelling and visual composition.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
