The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our vibrant Spalding based IT company supporting businesses around the East Midlands. This role is working with our school contract customers (provided with a van) around the Lincoln area. The ideal candidate will have a proven understanding of Office 365, Windows desktop and server, with at least one year’s previous experience in a similar role, willingness to learn new skills and work independently. Excellent communication skills are essential and an expectation to complete your role effectively. Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide onsite technical support on a variety of devices/systems to a set of assigned schools.
- Work with the Ark service desk resolving issues reported to them.
- Proactive and practical advice on equipment that is coming to end of life or could do with upgrading.
- Liaise onsite with 3rd party representatives e.g. Photocopier suppliers, Visitor signing in system suppliers.
We have a professional and friendly team of engineers ready to assist with new projects as well as day to day operations. We have a team of installers who are available for data cabling work, wireless installation, projector installations, CCTV etc, allowing a faster order to installation timescale. We supply hardware, software and are authorised resellers for most interactive products. The services we offer are specifically built for each organisation, dependent on the current infrastructure, future requirements and the continued delivery of core services. All of our contracts are tailored specifically for the organisation based on a mixture of hardware ownership and user requirements.

About Us
Setup in 2001 to provide ICT support to both Education and Business, the business soon developed and by 2005, we became a limited company. With a proven record of working in the Lincolnshire Schools ICT Service since 2001, we continue to build on our experience and infrastructure. Based in Pinchbeck, Spalding, South Lincolnshire, the core of our focus is working with Primary Schools where we find a local service, complemented by regular visits by the same engineer has proved very successful. Now based in our own building in Pinchbeck, Spalding, we have the platform to develop for the next 10 years, along with warehouse space and a purpose built builds and repairs facility. We also have an office in Metheringham near Lincoln.
