Perth & Blairgowrie - Young People Transitioning to Adult services. Full-time, part-time, and relief roles available. Earn up to £24,307.67 per year pro rata (Pay award pending; the new rate will be confirmed at interview, subject to formal agreement).
We are looking for individuals who have a passion to support young people through their transition into adulthood. This could include college support, being in their first tenancy, enhancing life skills, and supporting group activities. You will provide social, emotional, and practical support to meet young people's agreed outcomes. Your main duties will include but are not limited to:
- Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
- Communicating and working well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
- Being responsible for supporting individuals throughout the activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
- Updating and maintaining accurate records using a tablet on Ark's Information Management system.

We offer a good level of flexibility around shift patterns with varying hours. Driving is not essential. Students are welcome to apply, with flexibility around university/college placements. Please note this role includes regular paid sleepover shifts. Sleepover shifts are a requirement in the service. A sleepover shift consists of working during the day, a rest period sleeping over in the service, and then working again the next day. The sleepover period is over and above your contracted hours and gets paid as an additional payment of £100.80 per sleepover.
