The service in Perth is dynamic, versatile and diverse. The supported people in Perth range in ages, housing needs, disabilities and inabilities that mean they need support to live life to the full. They love to party, have strong relationships, require support with medication and finances, and have the biggest dreams to fulfil. Every person is unique, requiring differing needs, and each day is different with the one stable element that they are all supported to live as independently as possible.

Your main duties will include but are not limited to:
- Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
- Communicating and working well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
- Being responsible for supporting individuals throughout the activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
- Updating and maintaining accurate records using a tablet on Ark's Information Management system.
As a Relief Support Worker, you will carry out all the same duties while on shift as our Support Workers. As you do not have contracted hours, it gives you the flexibility to only pick up shifts when it suits you.
Please note: Relief work is on an as and when basis to cover for sickness absence, study leave and other staff contingencies. We cannot guarantee you regular or continued use as the need for relief staffing changes from time to time.
