Location: Lochgelly. Salary: £13.45 per hour, Part‑time. The Lochgelly Service currently provides care to 10 supported people who live in Lochgelly and surrounding areas. Some live in their own homes, others stay with family.

Overview
Getting to know the people we support is at the heart of what we do. We work with them to learn how they want us to support them. Support can range from a walk round Loch Ore Meadows, help with finances, a cup of tea at the Lochgelly centre, shopping, helping with personal care or going to bingo. We hold regular get‑togethers in the community for people to meet and enjoy themselves. Shifts range from 3 to 16 hours. The service operates 7 days a week. Good travel links in and around Lochgelly with local bus routes and a train station. An established staff team will guide and support new staff.

Key Responsibilities
• Work with colleagues as part of a team to support vulnerable people.
• Communicate and build appropriate relationships with supported people to provide individual care.
• Support individuals throughout activities, providing positive feedback and encouragement.
• Update and maintain accurate records using a tablet on Ark’s Information Management system.

What is a Relief Support Practitioner?
A Relief Support Practitioner does not have contracted hours. This provides flexibility, allowing you to pick up shifts that suit your availability.
