Full time
The East Lothian service supports people in Haddington, Tranent & Musselburgh. The role involves supporting 8 people, including 2 Houses of Multiple Occupancy with 3 people each and 2 people in their own flats. This includes 24‑hour support with sleepover and longer shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Work with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
- Communicate and work well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
- Be responsible in supporting individuals throughout activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
- Update and maintain accurate records using a tablet on Ark's Information Management system.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Care Worker, Social Worker, Home Carer, Case Worker, Care Assistant, Autism Support Worker, Personal Care Assistant or Social Care Worker (advantage but not essential; full training will be provided).
Benefits:
