Full time & Part time Contracts available!

The service has been established since 1990 and we provide long term care to people with learning disabilities. The service is an 8 bedded facility over two floors and located in a rural community. We provide a high level of support and encourage and support people to develop and maintain their individual skills. We also support and encourage people to access their community in order to support them to widen their social networks as well as promoting their skills in and around their home. We have an experienced and established team who are trained to support people's changing health needs as they get older.

Your main duties will be but not limited to:

  • Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable service users.
  • Communicate and work well with individuals to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
  • Carry out tasks in accordance with organisational policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Being responsible in supporting individuals throughout the activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
  • Updating and maintaining accurate records using a tablet on Arks Information Management system.
