Ark is recruiting full-time Support Workers at our Hoseasons service located in the Clermiston area of Edinburgh.
The Hoseasons service supports 5 people in Clermiston. All supported individuals live within the same street as our office, ensuring nearby support from team members. We support people with a range of needs including autism and physical disabilities. Three individuals require 24-hour support, with two needing 2:1 care. The remaining two receive drop-in support during the day, including housing, social, and medication support.
Please note that this role includes sleepover shifts.*
*A sleepover shift involves working during the day, sleeping over in the service between 11pm – 7am, and then working again the following day. These shifts are typically 24 hours (e.g., 10am – 10am or 3pm – 3pm). Sleepover periods are additional to contracted hours and are paid an extra £96.00 per sleepover.

- Working with colleagues to support vulnerable people effectively.
- Communicating and working well with supported individuals to provide personalized care and build appropriate relationships.
- Supporting individuals in activities, providing positive feedback and encouragement.
- Updating and maintaining accurate records using a tablet on Ark\’s Information Management system.
