Role Purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Development Consultant to lead and manage complex housing development projects from inception through to handover for ARK clients. Working with our Development Director and associate team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, affordable homes that meet local needs and align with strategic housing objectives.
You will act as a subject matter expert and senior advisor, supporting the delivery of capital investment programmes, regeneration schemes, and mixed-tenure housing developments. You’ll work closely with internal teams, elected members, external partners, developers, contractors, and residents to ensure successful outcomes across all development phases.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering complex residential or mixed-use development schemes in a housing association, local authority, or private sector setting. Thet will have strong project management skills, including budget and risk management and an excellent knowledge of development appraisal tools and financial modelling.
