We are seeking an experienced Psychology & Sociology teacher who loves inspiring curiosity and challenging young minds. You’ll empower every student to achieve their best, combining passion, enthusiasm, and the skills to nurture and support every child’s journey. The ideal candidate will:
- Be an outstanding teacher of Psychology/Sociology or have the potential to become outstanding
- Have experience in raising, or the desire to raise attainment, for all students of all abilities
- Be committed to Ark’s ethos of high expectations and no excuses and the belief that every child can succeed
- Have evidence of continually improving the teaching and learning of their subject
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging and effective lessons that motivate, inspire, and improve pupil attainment
- Produce/contribute to oral and written assessments, reports and references relating to individual and groups of pupils
- Maintain regular and productive communication with pupils, parents, and carers, to report on progress, sanctions and rewards and all other communications
Qualification Criteria:
- Qualified to degree level and/or above
- Hold qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Right to work in the U.K.
