We are seeking a dedicated and skilledElectricalTechnicianto join our team working on a day shift. As anElectricalTechnician, you will spend your days maintaining and repairingelectricalsystems and equipment, diagnosing and resolvingelectricalissues, collaborating with other team members, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

You will be involved in routine inspections, documentation ofmaintenanceactivities, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and reliability ofelectricalsystems.

ElectricalTechnicianResponsibilities:

  • Conduct routinemaintenanceand inspections ofelectricalsystems and equipment
  • React quickly and efficiently to plant breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and troubleshootelectricalissues and implement effective solutions
  • Repair or replace faultyelectricalparts, wiring, and equipment
  • Install, maintain, and repair 3-phase motors, PLCs, VFDs, and otherelectricalsystems
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations andelectricalcodes
  • Documentmaintenanceand repair activities, including updating equipment records and work orders
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to support overall facility operations
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhanceelectricalsystem efficiency and reliability
  • Participate in call out system.

ElectricalTechnicianRequirements:

  • 18th Edition certification
  • Proficient in diagnosing PLC/HMI systems, with some experience of ladder logic.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and commissioning Variable Frequency Drives.
  • Excellent control and automation experience, including modifying existing controls systems and implementing new control systems.
  • Proficient in fault-finding, 3 phase and single-phase systems.
  • Proven experience as an electrician with a focus onfactory automation and maintenance
  • Strong diagnostic skills with experience in LV circuits,electricalmotors, and power lighting
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings andelectricalschematics
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of safety standards and procedures inelectricalwork
