Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for delivering equipment directly to the wards, collecting equipment no longer required, primarily pressure relieving mattresses.
  • You will use an iPad and iPhone to log serial numbers of equipment as it moves in and out of the hospital.
  • A valid driver’s licence is essential; you will load your van at a local depot and carry out all work from the van, attending orders as they come in.
  • All installation requests must be delivered within four hours, so a methodical and practical approach is required to prevent patients from waiting.
  • The role involves lifting bulky mattresses for long periods, although equipment is provided to support movement around hospitals.
  • No prior experience is required, as full training will be given.
  • The role requires enthusiasm, positivity and strong communication skills – you will be the face of the company in hospitals and need to build relationships with customers and patients.

  • Willingness to undertake work outside normal hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, and participate in an 'On Call' rota.
