Position: Medical Delivery Driver

Location:

Field based from our depot at Glasgow

Job type:

Full Time, Permanent

Shift Pattern: 1 in 3 weekends

Week 1 โ€“ Monday to Friday

Week 2 โ€“ Monday to Friday

Week 3 โ€“ Wednesday to Sunday

Week 4 โ€“ Monday to Friday

Week 5 โ€“ Monday to Friday

Week 6 โ€“ Monday to Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday

The skills you will need

  • A practical approach.
  • Ability to prioritize work and amend route plans accordingly.
  • A positive and team-oriented approach.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Driving License: Required to hold a valid UK driverโ€™s license.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance: Required (at the cost of Arjo).
  • Must be able to lift bulky mattresses for long periods, although equipment is provided to support moving the rental products around the hospitals.
  • Due to the nature of this role, there may be a requirement to undertake work outside of normal hours i.e. evenings, weekends and bank holidays and participate in the โ€œOn Callโ€ rota.
  • You will be required to drive a transit van and hold a clean driving license (held for a minimum of one year) and be able to route plan effectively.
