As National Commercial Manager – LTC, you will lead strategic growth across the UK Long Term Care market, driving profitable sales and strengthening key customer relationships. You’ll oversee commercial and clinical teams to deliver sustainable market share growth and shape the national strategy in collaboration with senior stakeholders. The role offers high impact across Sales, Rentals, Service and Operations, contributing to Arjo’s mission to empower movement in healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Inspire and lead commercial and clinical teams to hit national sales, gross profit and growth targets
- Cultivate relationships with C-suite, ICB/ICS leads, large care organizations and national accounts
- Develop and execute annual national business plans aligned with UK and global strategy
- Identify new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships in Long Term Care
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver value-led Arjo solutions that differentiate us
- Share market and competitor intelligence to inform strategy and mitigate risk
- Support tender submissions and allocate resources to win new business
- Coach and develop team members, enhancing commercial acumen and CRM usage
- Produce forecasts, manage budgets and report progress against plans
- Ensure activity complies with Arjo’s principles, policies, quality and safety standards
Key requirements
- Proven experience leading sales teams and delivering commercial growth
- Strong understanding of the UK healthcare market (NHS, private hospitals, care home groups, long-term care providers)
- Experience tendering for large contracts through OJEU and relevant frameworks
- Excellent commercial acumen with ability to develop value-led solutions
- Coaching, mentoring and change management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication for complex conversations
- Motivated, resilient and solutions-focused with strong planning and organisational skills
- Experience using CRM systems, forecasting tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
