Position: Field Service Engineer

Location: Field based - covering Newcastle/Northumberland

Job type: Permanent, Full Time - Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm, Friday 8.30am - 4pm

Salary: £35000 - £39000

The impact you will have:

This exciting opportunity comes with full training and support, allowing you to support our customers with the servicing of our medical equipment on site, including beds, mattresses, couches, baths, trolleys and hoists. You will be joining a global market leading organization within the medical device industry and be part of an expanding global company. The skills you will need:

  • Ideally, you will have previous experience working in a similar role and be able to demonstrate the following skills:
  • Have an understanding of electrical or mechanical engineering
  • The ability to work to deadlines
  • Good time management
  • A knowledge of the principles of Health and Safety
  • Basic IT skills and the ability to work with an iPad

Please note: Due to the nature of this role an Enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) Disclosure will be required (at the company’s cost). You will be required to participate on an out of hours rota. Applicants must live within a reasonable distance to the area covered. A full driving licence is required, as you will be required to drive a company van.
