Serves older adults and their families as they make decisions about downsizing, relocating or aging in place. When the clients need to move, we help them through the downsizing and relocation process. When the clients choose to age in place in their current home, then we help them reorganize and situate their home for comfort and safety. We provide space planning, organizing, packing, move supervision, unpacking and new home setup, estate dispersal, home cleaning and staging for sale and other relocation and transition services.

Responsibilities for The Job
- Six to twelve months of moving work experience is preferred, but not required.
- Able to work a flexible, part-time schedule, but still treat this as seriously as any full-time position.
- Loads and unloads vehicles by hand or by use of hand truck or dolly.
- Wraps furniture with blankets to prevent damage.
- Wraps dishes and fragile items in packing paper and packs them into containers.
- Pads, stacks, and secures items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment.
- Delivers, stacks or sets up household items at customer’s premises.
- Assists in cleaning truck, tools, and equipment.
- Collects or picks up empty containers, packing materials.
- Must have knowledge of furniture and equipment handling industry-accepted procedures.
- Must know and use generally accepted industry practices for vehicle housekeeping.

Must Have/Must Be
- Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance and own car (reliable transportation is imperative).
- Must be a citizen of the U.S. and present proof of identity and employment eligibility.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English to interact with clients and co-workers.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Computer skills: working knowledge of Word, Excel and comfortable learning new apps.
- Must have a high school diploma.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Able to work and move steadily and efficiently.
References and Background Checks
You must be able to pass a background check. Three references will be required.
