Hands-on technical support role supporting laboratory instruments, software and consumables, with regular customer travel across the UK, Europe and the US.

About the role:

  • Provide technical support to new and existing customers across the full product range.
  • Diagnose, repair and service laboratory equipment on customer sites and in-house.
  • Regular travel to customer locations.
  • Support customers via email and phone when required.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate orders.
  • Work with manufacturing and product teams on faults, improvements and new products.
  • Test products and perform quality/functional checks prior to sale.
  • Configure laptops and install software for use with equipment.

Your previous experience:

  • Experience repairing and servicing equipment (in-house and on customer sites).
  • Local to Cambridge and happy with some global travel.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
  • Direct customer technical support experience.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with good listening skills.
  • Competent with computers, operating systems and major software tools.
  • Full UK driving licence, clean record.
  • Professional, discreet and able to represent the brand on-site.

Package:

  • £35,000 – £40,000 base salary + bonus (DOE).
