About the role
- Identify and research prospective clients across the global private-markets industry
- Build targeted prospect lists across private equity, infrastructure, private credit, real estate and venture capital firms
- Engage senior decision-makers through email, Linked In, telephone and other outbound channels
- Develop tailored messaging based on each prospect’s investment strategy, geography and organisational priorities
- Generate qualified demonstrations and new-business opportunities for the Account Executive team
- Work closely with Account Executives to ensure meetings meet the agreed qualification criteria
- Maintain accurate records of activity, conversations and opportunities within Hub Spot
- Use Apollo and other sales tools to research accounts, identify stakeholders and manage outreach
- Collaborate with leadership and marketing on campaign execution, messaging and market feedback
- Develop a detailed understanding of the company’s datasets, clients and commercial proposition
- Consistently achieve monthly activity, meeting and pipeline-generation targets
- Gain exposure to the full sales process, including demonstrations, proposals, negotiations and closed business
- Progress into an Account Executive position in as little as six months, subject to performance
- 1 to 3 years of experience within sales development, business development, recruitment or another client-facing commercial position
- Evidence of working towards measurable targets within a performance-driven environment
- Confident communicating with senior and executive-level stakeholders
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create clear and personalised outreach
- Comfortable prospecting through telephone, email and Linked In
- Organised and able to manage a high volume of accounts, contacts and follow-up activity
- Proactive approach to researching companies and identifying relevant decision-makers
- Curious, commercially minded and motivated by achieving results
- Comfortable receiving coaching and taking ownership of personal performance
- Ambitious to progress into a full-cycle Account Executive role
- Experience using Hub Spot, Apollo or comparable sales engagement tools would be advantageous
- Experience within financial services, private markets, data, intelligence or subscription-based businesses would be beneficial but is not essential
Package
- £45,000 to £50,000 base salary, depending on experience
- Uncapped commission structure
- £100 commission for each qualified demonstration, with qualification determined by the Sales Executive team
