About the role
- Provide technical support to new and existing customers across the full product range.
- Diagnose, repair and service laboratory equipment on customer sites and in-house.
- Regular travel to customer locations (UK/US/Europe).
- Support customers via email and phone when required.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate orders.
- Work with manufacturing and product teams on faults, improvements and new products.
- Test products and perform quality/functional checks prior to sale.
- Configure laptops and install software for use with equipment.
- Experience repairing and servicing equipment (in-house and on customer sites).
- Local to Cambridge and happy with some global travel.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
- Direct customer technical support experience.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with good listening skills.
- Competent with computers, operating systems and major software tools.
