About the Role:
- As a Technical Business Development Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive growth and secure new clients in emerging markets.
- This role offers a dynamic environment where you’ll be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, working to develop a strong market presence and increase revenue.
- Build and develop new customer relationships in assigned sales verticals.
- Regular client visits to understand needs and secure alignment with solutions.
- Accurately forecast and report on your sales pipeline and results.
- Identify new markets and expand cross-functional opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Over time, develop networks with customers to inform future product development.
About You:
- You’re a results-oriented, proactive individual with a talent for sales in Oil & Gas Solutions.
- You’re driven, highly organised, and excel in building strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in technical sales, ideally with innovative or disruptive technology.
- Recent experience working for a smaller business or start-up.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a "hunter" mindset.
- Background of selling into Oil & Gas.
- Highly motivated and comfortable with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and ease working across internal teams.
- Familiarity with MS Office and CRM software (HubSpot preferred).
- Knowledge of the water/environmental industry is a bonus but not essential.
Package:
- Base salary: £60,000-£65,000.
- First-year OTE: £100,000 (uncapped).
- Second-year OTE: up to £140,000.
- Fully remote, with occasional visits to the UK office (1-2 times a month).
