The role of Director of Sales for EMEA involves driving revenue growth, market expansion, and customer excellence across the EMEA region within our Class III Casino games. This leadership role manages a team of sales professionals, develops and accomplishes regional sales strategies, manages key customer relationships, and ensures consistent revenue delivery. The role requires a strong balance of strategic leadership, operational difficulty, and hands-on sales execution, working closely with cross-functional collaborators to deliver balanced growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Growth & Sales Execution
- Own and deliver regional revenue targets, including bookings, pipeline, and margin objectives.
- Develop and complete sales plans aligned with company-wide strategy.
- Drive consistent pipeline generation and conversion through proactive deal management.
- Lead complex, high-value deals and strategic negotiations.
- Ensure principled adoption of sales methodologies and CRM processes.
- Customer & Account Management
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
- Supervise account planning and ensure strong customer retention and expansion strategies.
- Act as the point of contact for critical customer issues and ensure rapid resolution of partner concerns.
- Champion customer-centric selling and ensure delivery of high customer satisfaction (NPS / CSAT targets).
- Identify and develop new market opportunities and partnerships across EMEA.
- Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing regional sales team.
- Set clear performance expectations, critical metrics, and accountability frameworks.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Develop a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with HR on talent planning, succession, and organizational design.
- Strategy & Market Development
- Define and complete the EMEA sales strategy in alignment with global priorities.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform decisions.
- Identify growth segments, verticals, and geographic expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and allied teams to align go-to-market initiatives.
- Drive regional business planning and long-term growth strategies.
- Forecasting, Budgeting & Reporting
- Own accurate and timely sales forecasting (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
- Develop and lead regional sales budgets, including cost control and return on investment optimization.
- Track and communicate performance against targets using data-driven insights.
- Provide regular reporting and executive updates to VP Sales and senior leadership.
- Ensure data integrity and effective use of CRM and reporting tools.
- Operational Excellence
- Establish and implement guidelines across sales operations and processes.
- Drive adoption of tools, automation, and analytics to improve efficiency.
- Optimize territory design, quota allocation, and coverage models.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Sales Operations to continuously improve performance frameworks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing on demand generation and campaign effectiveness.
- Partner with Customer Success and Services to ensure delivery excellence and renewals.
- Collaborate with Product teams to provide market feedback and influence roadmap.
- Align with Channel/Partner teams to improve indirect revenue contribution.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of sales experience, with significant leadership responsibility in EMEA.
- Experience in Class III casino games.
- Consistent record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams.
- Strong background in complex enterprise sales and deal negotiation.
- Demonstrated ability to build and complete strategic sales plans.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
