Technical Architect / Architectural Technician – Cambridge\\n\\nSalary: Up to £50,000 (depending on experience)\\nHybrid: 2 days per week working from home\\n\\nArise Recruit is delighted to be working with a dynamic and forward-thinking architectural practice in Cambridge, renowned for its innovative designs and diverse project portfolio.\\n\\nWe are supporting them in their search for Technical Architects and Architectural Technicians, though they are equally keen to meet talented Part II Architectural Assistants who want to join their established Cambridge team.\\n\\nThis practice operates collaboratively with other regional offices across the UK and offers the chance to work on a wide range of exciting projects across sectors including commercial, private and volume residential, education, sport, and community developments.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nAs part of the design and technical team, you’ll:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Support the design and development of projects across all RIBA stages.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Produce detailed architectural drawings and specifications using Revit.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Manage construction stages, ensuring compliance with design specifications and building regulations.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Communicate confidently with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Balance and prioritise work across multiple projects.\\n\\nSkills & Qualifications\\n\\n * \\n\\n Architects / Technicians – RIBA / ARB or CIAT membership.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Proven technical detailing experience (Stage 4), with a strong understanding of on-site processes.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Excellent knowledge of UK building regulations and standards.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Proficiency in Revit is essential.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong written and verbal communication skills.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently when required.\\n\\nWhat’s in it for you\\n\\n * \\n\\n A diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors.\\n\\n * \\n\\n A supportive, collaborative working environment with genuine opportunities for professional growth.\\n\\n * \\n\\n The chance to lead projects, gain client-facing experience, and mentor junior team members.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Hybrid working – 2 days per week from home.\\n\\n * \\n\\n All professional fees and subscriptions paid.\\n\\n * \\n\\n 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Regular funded staff social events fostering a connected and engaged team.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Competitive salary based on experience (up to £50,000).\\n\\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for Architects, Architectural Assistants, and Architectural Technicians to join a practice that truly values teamwork, creativity, and innovation.\\n\\nIf you’re looking for your next step in an inspiring and supportive studio, we’d love to hear from you.
