Suitable candidates can be Intermediate, Senior or Associate Level. They have sufficient workload to strengthen the team with a number of key appointments. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking consultancy with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality Cost Management, Project Management, CDM and Building Surveying services across a diverse portfolio of projects. The business is continuing to grow and is looking for ambitious Quantity Surveyors to play a key role within the Cost Management team, working closely with clients across the South East.

The Role
Within the Quantity Surveying team, you will offer clients a range of services including:
- Feasibility studies and development appraisal
- Cost planning and estimating
- Value engineering
- Tender evaluation and negotiation
- Contract administration, variations and valuations
- Final account negotiation
- Bank monitoring
These positions offer a genuine long-term career opportunity within an independently owned consultancy that values collaboration, quality, and professional development. Candidates at Senior and Associate Quantity Surveyor level will work with the Directors and take on some responsibility for mentoring and management of the team. Employees are also rewarded for business development and fee generation for the team.
Requirements
- Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy or surveying practice
- MRICS qualified or currently working towards chartership
- Strong understanding of cost management and contract administration
- Knowledge of JCT and ideally NEC contracts
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
