We are working with a very successful and established Main Contractor who operates across Surrey, Kent, Sussex and London. This is a company that never stands still and is always looking for ways to improve their offering and the efficiency of what they do.
They are looking to bring design in-house by appointing a company Architect / Architectural Technologist who will be client facing and deliver feasibility projects and design proposals to clients, then continue to work on projects through all RIBA stages. This is a unique opportunity where you will have the scope to use your creative flair through design stages, but just as importantly you must be able to offer technical know-how through construction stages. During later stages you will work as part of a Project Team, including Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Buyers and Design Managers. You will be involved in projects from the development of a brief, through design and then up until a final built product. It will undoubtedly be an exciting role, and quite different from the traditional private practice career!
To be considered for the role you must have worked across all RIBA stages and be able to demonstrate exposure to both design and technical stages on projects £10M+ in a range of sectors. The company works across most sectors other than multi-unit residential schemes.
Requirements:
- Degree Qualified
- Ideally ARB Registered / MCIAT
- Proficient in AutoCAD - other software knowledge would be beneficial
- Confident in a client facing role
- Experience across both Design and Technical Delivery RIBA stages
