We are currently seeking a Marketing Automation Manager to own and scale our marketing automation capability, driving measurable pipeline growth and supporting sales success. This is a high-impact, hands-on role at the core of our demand generation engine, directly contributing to revenue outcomes. Reporting into the Marketing function and working closely with Marketing Operations, Sales, and RevOps, this role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution.
You will partner with Demand Generation, Content, SDRs, and Sales teams to bring campaigns to life and ensure seamless lead flow across systems. This is an exciting opportunity to build and shape how we execute marketing automation at scale - from optimising lifecycle journeys to supporting the rollout of an ABM capability. If you enjoy building campaigns end-to-end (not just enabling them), working with data, and seeing direct business impact from your work, this role offers both ownership and visibility.
Essential Functions- Own and manage the marketing automation stack (Marketo initially, with an ABM platform to follow), including architecture, governance, and best practices
- Build and execute multi-touch, multi-channel campaigns across the funnel (nurture, lifecycle, events, product campaigns)
- Design scalable program templates, workflows, and automation frameworks
- Own and optimise lead lifecycle stages (capture → nurture → MQL → SQL) to improve conversion rates and pipeline contribution
- Maintain segmentation, scoring models, and lifecycle logic
- Ensure clean, reliable, and GDPR-compliant data flow into Salesforce
- Partner with Marketing Ops and Sales Ops to maintain lead routing, sync logic, and data integrity
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Demand Gen, Content, SDRs, Sales, and RevOps to align strategy and execution
- Build and run A/B tests to optimise campaign performance and engagement
- Analyse campaign performance and pipeline impact; provide actionable insights to improve results
- Support the rollout of an ABM platform and build targeted, account-based journeys
- 4-7+ years of experience in Marketing Automation, Marketing Operations, or Demand Generation
- Strong hands-on experience with Marketo (essential)
- Proven experience building and executing multi-step automated campaigns and nurture programs
- Strong understanding of B2B enterprise funnel and lifecycle marketing
- Experience working with Salesforce and Sales Operations teams
- Strong data and systems thinking, with high attention to detail
- Ability to translate strategy into execution and deliver measurable outcomes
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with ABM platforms (e.g., 6sense, Demandbase)
- HTML/email templating knowledge
- Experience in enterprise SaaS or B2B technology environments
- Familiarity with advanced reporting and attribution models
