We are currently seeking an Industry Lead – Manufacturing & Pharma to join our team in the United Kingdom (remote flexibility available). In this role, the Industry Lead acts as a strategic advisor for customers and prospects across the Manufacturing industry, engaging directly with C-level executives (COO, Chief Manufacturing Officer, Chief Operations Officer, CIO, Head of Quality) using consultative, value-based, and outcome-driven approaches. This role combines deep manufacturing industry expertise with strategic leadership in production, logistics, and quality processes and systems.
The Industry Lead will define and drive ARIS’ Manufacturing industry narrative globally, shape executive conversations around process transformation and optimisation, and collaborate closely with Product & Technology and go-to-market teams to build scalable, differentiated manufacturing solutions — particularly in highly regulated environments such as Pharma, Medical Technology, Aerospace, and Defense.
Essential Functions- Acting as a strategic executive advisor in manufacturing transformation initiatives across production, logistics, and quality domains.
- Leading C-level workshops and executive discussions focused on operational excellence, digital manufacturing, compliance-driven optimisation, and AI-enabled process intelligence.
- Owning and shaping the Manufacturing industry go-to-market motion in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Enablement, and Solution Architecture teams.
- Translating complex production and quality system challenges into scalable process intelligence use cases and industry accelerators.
- Driving solution innovation by identifying opportunities across manufacturing operating models and influencing Product & Technology roadmap priorities.
- Providing expert-level insights into manufacturing trends, regulatory frameworks, and optimisation strategies.
- Enabling and mentoring global Solution Architects and customer-facing teams with strong industry positioning, narratives, and best practices.
- Representing ARIS at executive briefings, customer forums, and industry conferences as a Manufacturing domain authority.
- 12+ years of experience in manufacturing transformation, operations consulting, or enterprise software leadership within the manufacturing sector.
- Deep expertise in production, logistics, and quality processes and systems.
- Proven experience leading process transformation and optimisation initiatives in manufacturing environments.
- Strong executive exposure, with demonstrated experience engaging C-level stakeholders.
- Background in consulting (Big 4 or Tier 1 preferred).
- Experience working in or with highly regulated environments such as Pharma, MedTech, Aerospace, or Defense.
- Exposure to BPM, process mining, or enterprise process intelligence platforms.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing ecosystems including MES, LIMS, QMS, PLM, and ERP integrations.
- Ability to articulate the balance between operational performance and regulatory compliance (e.g., GMP, CAPA, validation, change control).
- Strong commercial mindset and strategic thinking capability.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Experience influencing product roadmap or building industry accelerators.
- Multi-country manufacturing transformation experience.
- Relevant certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, CQE, CQA, GMP/ISO auditor, or CMQ/OE.
