Role Description This is a full-time Commodities Portfolio Manager role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with a hybrid working arrangement that allows for a mix of office-based and remote work. The PM will have a proven track record trading in a similar set-up. The PM will research and analyse global commodity markets, monitor positions, and execute trades in line with the firm’s strategies and risk parameters. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing trading strategies, managing risk and hedging exposures. The role also involves collaborating with the various stakeholders of the business.
Qualifications
- A verifiable track record for a minimum of 3 years trading Commodity Markets.
- Solid understanding of derivatives, risk management, and portfolio construction.
- Knowledge of Hedging strategies and techniques to manage risk.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
