This is a highly visible role within Arini's global Investor Relations and Business Development team, offering direct exposure to senior investment professionals and institutional investors. The Investor Relations Analyst/Associate will play a central role in supporting fundraising, investor engagement, and product positioning across Arini's credit strategies, with particular emphasis on performance analysis, portfolio construction, and risk characteristics.
Working closely with the Head of Investor Relations and investment, risk, and operations teams, the role focuses on maintaining the analytical and communication framework that underpins Arini's capital-raising and client relationship efforts. The position is structured as a dedicated credit product specialist function, operating alongside a separate team member focused on operational due diligence, ongoing client servicing, and reporting.
While the role is anticipated to include meaningful client-facing interaction, it is not a sales or coverage position. The focus is on delivering precision, consistency, and institutional quality across investor materials, performance narratives, and due diligence responses.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain deep product knowledge across Arini's credit strategies, including portfolio construction, performance drivers, and risk exposures.
- Draft and maintain fund, strategy, and portfolio-level talking points to ensure consistent, accurate investor messaging.
- Lead initial drafting of monthly and periodic performance commentary, working closely with portfolio management and risk teams to articulate attribution and market context.
- Conduct market research and peer performance benchmarking to support fundraising materials and investor discussions.
- Partner with Investor Relations and Business Development teams to prepare investor presentations, pitch materials, and strategic proposals.
- Oversee and maintain the firm's centralized investor content and presentation library.
- Provide backup support for operational due diligence, ongoing client servicing, and reporting-related requests, as needed.
- Support the Head of Investor Relations and global sales team in investor meetings, due diligence sessions, and calls, as required.
- 2 - 4+ years' experience supporting institutional investors within a credit-focused asset manager, hedge fund, alternatives platform, or placement agent.
- Foundational understanding of institutional fundraising and investor relations, with exposure to credit products, performance reporting, and investor due diligence.
- Strong analytical and writing skills, with experience producing high-quality investor materials and performance commentary.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, with the maturity to interact effectively with senior stakeholders and institutional investors.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely across investment, risk, operations, and business development teams.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with high standards for analytical accuracy and presentation quality.
