The Patient Services Administrator is responsible to the Patient Services Manager. They have general administrative duties within the admin office including managing and distributing incoming documentation and entering data onto the clinical system.
Proposed work pattern:
- Mon - 12.00 - 18.00hrs (6)
- Tues - 12.00 - 18.00hrs (6)
- Wed - 12.00 - 18.00hrs (6)
- Fri - 12.00 - 18.00hrs (6)
Main duties of the job:
- Managing Workflow documents and coding into the clinical records
- Identifying workflow and referring any clinical actions internally as appropriate
- Auditing the workflow process
- Managing emails, electronic and paper post
- Scanning of letters and relevant correspondence into patient notes
- Liaising with external agencies such as hospitals and community services
- Handling telephone queries and re-directing as appropriate
- General admin support

Job responsibilities:

Person Specification:
Experience:- Experience of working with the general public
- Experience of administrative duties
- Experience of working in a health care setting
- GCSE Mathematics & English (C or above)
- AMSPAR Qualification / NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
