Overview Marketing & Events Manager – Shopping Centre
Wimbledon, London (5-days onsite)
I am working alongside an established property company who are seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to lead the day-to-day marketing of a busy, mixed-use neighbourhood destination. The role focuses on driving footfall, supporting occupiers, strengthening community engagement, and delivering a year-round programme of events and campaigns.
This is a creative and operational role, working closely with internal teams, external partners, and on-site businesses to bring marketing strategies to life and deliver memorable customer experiences.
Responsibilities Lead day-to-day marketing and communications across digital and physical channels
Plan and deliver a full annual events calendar, including large-scale seasonal events
Drive footfall through promotional, experiential, and community-led activity
Act as the main marketing contact for tenants, supporting campaigns and collaboration
Manage PR activity, media outreach, and performance reporting
Build strong relationships with local community groups, charities, and stakeholders
Coordinate suppliers, agencies, budgets, and on-site delivery
Support new openings, centre improvements, and vacant unit marketing when required
Qualifications Proven marketing experience, ideally within retail, leisure, placemaking, or property
Strong event delivery experience from concept through to execution
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience managing agencies and external suppliers
Highly organised, proactive, and commercially minded
Minimum 3 years\’ marketing experience (B2B experience essential)
Confident using tools such as Microsoft Office, Canva, and similar platforms
