Senior Learning & Development / Career Development Manager

I am pleased to be working alongside a multi-generational family enterprise, who are currently seeking an experienced Senior Family Career Development Manager to lead on the design and delivery of their structured career development programs. This role will act as a strategic advisor and program leader, ensuring career progression pathways are merit-based, aligned with governance frameworks, and supported through coaching, learning initiatives, internships, and digital talent tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and manage personalised career development plans across multiple life and career stages.
- Deliver structured career coaching and leadership development, using tools such as psychometric assessments, DISC, and performance frameworks (e.g., 9-box grid).
- Design and execute end-to-end learning and development programmes, bootcamps, and workshops.
- Lead internship and placement pathways in coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners (including universities).
- Provide education and career advisory support to students (high school and university level).
- Ensure compliance with governance policies, employment charters, and ethical best practices.
- Prepare and present quarterly dashboards and progress reports to senior committees and stakeholders.
- Support the development and management of a digital talent platform (learning history, mentoring logs, opportunities, tracking).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in HR, Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field is essential.
- 8–10+ years’ experience in talent development, coaching, career development, or learning & development.
- Strong experience designing multi-level leadership development programmes.
- Comfortable working with high-trust stakeholder groups and sensitive information.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, mentoring frameworks, and capability building.
- Experience within family enterprises / governance-led environments is highly desirable - but not essential.
- Excellent English communication (Arabic is a plus).
- Willingness to travel internationally when required.
- High emotional intelligence, discretion, integrity, and neutrality.
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation ability.
- Organised, delivery-focused, and analytical approach.
