A private equity infrastructure fund is expanding its fund finance function following a period of successful growth. The team is looking for a funds finance professional to take on a broad senior commercially exposed role operating within a lean structure. The role will work directly with senior leadership in an end to end role that has room for upward mobility. The incumbent will sit at the centre of the fund platform, partnering with investment, asset management and portfolio company leadership. The role combines core fund oversight with transaction support, governance, operational control and strategic improvement projects. The environment is fast-paced and hands-on. You will have visibility across the full fund lifecycle, from launch through to deployment and realisation.
- Lead capital call and distribution activity across multiple closed-end vehicles, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and alignment with fund documentation.
- Coordinate quarterly investor reporting, risk reporting and annual audit processes across the fund structure.
- Oversee governance at fund and SPV level, ensuring adherence to partnership agreements, constitutional documents and regulatory frameworks.
Commercial and Transaction Exposure
- Support new vehicle launches, refinancings and acquisition activity, including structuring implementation and operational set-up.
- Partner with portfolio company CFOs on ownership structures, investor matters and tax positioning.
- Contribute to other strategic corporate actions as the portfolio evolves.
Stakeholder and Service Provider Management
- Act as a key point of contact for fund administrators, depositaries, auditors, tax advisers and legal counsel.
- Review statutory accounts, VAT filings and compliance deliverables across Luxembourg and intermediary entities.
- Respond to investor and internal stakeholder queries with clarity and authority.
Controls, Risk and Platform Development
- Maintain and enhance operational due diligence materials and internal control frameworks.
- Support AML, KYC and payment controls across fund and SPV structures.
- Oversee banking platforms, payment processes and access governance.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, strengthening policies and operational efficiency as the platform scales.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4+ years’ post-qualified experience within closed-end funds. Exposure to real assets preferred. Private equity or private credit backgrounds also open to consideration.
- Strong experience working with Luxembourg fund structures is essential.
