A mid-market private equity firm with a global footprint is looking to appoint a Carry Associate into its London-based finance team. The role sits at the centre of the firm’s carried interest arrangements, supporting the administration, accounting and reporting across multiple funds and bespoke carry structures. This is an ideal opportunity for someone currently in funds tax, audit or fund administration who wants to move in-house and develop deeper exposure to the commercial and accounting mechanics of carry in a private equity environment.

Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, you will support the ongoing operation of the firm’s carried interest schemes, ensuring accuracy, control and timely reporting across the lifecycle of the funds. The remit is broad and hands-on, covering data integrity, entity accounting, stakeholder queries and internal reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining accurate carry-related data across internal systems and investor reporting platforms
  • Supporting quarterly and periodic calculations relating to carried interest, including validation and review of outputs
  • Producing bookkeeping and statutory accounts for carried interest and related partnership entities, in line with governing documentation
  • Preparing and maintaining valuation and performance calculations for inclusion in internal carry reporting
  • Supporting the operation of carry vehicles
