Aria Partners are working with a multi strategy investment manager that is looking to hire an Investment Analyst into its London based team.
Sitting within a lean investment team and reporting directly to an experienced Portfolio Manager, the role will focus predominantly on hedge fund manager research, fund selection and portfolio monitoring, alongside exposure to a broader range of alternative investments.
The role will include:
- Researching and assessing hedge fund managers across a range of strategies
- Conducting manager meetings and ongoing qualitative and quantitative due diligence
- Monitoring existing investments, performance and portfolio risks
- Producing investment research and recommendations for the wider investment team
- Supporting portfolio construction, reporting and investment analysis
- Exposure to a growing digital assets strategy
- Broader exposure to private markets, secondaries and other alternative investments
- Working closely with senior investment professionals across the wider group
We're looking for someone with roughly 3-6 years' experience within manager research, fund selection or a closely related investment role at another fund of funds manager.
Relevant backgrounds could include:
- Hedge fund-of-funds, multi-manager asset management, investment consulting, OCIO, private banking or alternatives research.
- Existing hedge fund research experience would be particularly relevant. Exposure to private markets or digital assets would also be advantageous
- The role is likely to suit someone who wants broad exposure across alternatives, direct interaction with senior decision-makers and the opportunity to develop within a small investment team.
Compensation is likely to be around the Β£75,000-100,000 mark with strong bonus potential.
