A leading European mid market Private Equity firm is looking to hire a Fund Accountant to join its London-based operations team. With significant heritage and a track record of success across multiple funds, this is a superb role for someone recently qualified from Audit (Funds clients), Fund Admin or another Private Equity style fund, with the chance to take on a broad and encompassing role.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Oversight of external fund administrators and quarterly investor reporting
- Valuation and portfolio monitoring in line with IPEV guidelines
- Fund economics including carry and performance metrics
- Fund modelling, projections and scenario analysis
- Supporting investor reporting, fundraising and AGMs
- Managing audit, tax and structural oversight across multiple jurisdictions
Candidate profile:
- ACA, CA or ACCA qualified (essential) and degree educated
- Exposure to private equity, credit or alternative asset management (in-house, audit or fund admin) - this is key for the role given the small size of the team
- Strong fund accounting knowledge and advanced Excel/modelling skills
- Comfortable working in a small, high-performing team
- Positive attitude, solid work ethic, happy to get stuck in
Central London location, 4 days a week in the office, salary in the region of £65-70,000 base plus bonus and benefits.
